Grant opportunity! Back Black Businesses

DEADLINE TO APPLY: SEPTEMBER 6TH!!

The Coalition to Back Black Businesses is a multi-year initiative launched by American Express, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the National Black Chamber of Commerce, National Business League, U.S. Black Chambers, Inc., and Walker’s Legacy. The program was created in September 2020 to support Black small businesses as they recover from the pandemic and chart a path forward. This initiative will provide $14 million in grants, training, and resources to empower Black-owned small businesses through 2024.

We’re proud to announce that the Coalition is now accepting applications for its 2022-23 cohort. This fall, the Coalition will distribute $5,000 grants to 272 Black-owned small businesses to support their long-term success and resilience. From helping cover monthly utility bills to keep their doors open, to enhanced marketing efforts, this funding will enable the Black small business community to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch this video to hear from C.
